These distinct designs came about from attending Kalidescope Gathering in Canada, where they have a sacred Ve, with God Poles that are carved from logs, and stood in teh ground.

I wanted to create a image that was evocative of those poles, but also something that was modern as well.  I wanted to reflect the practices of Modern Heathens while also respecting the ancient iconography
